Our philosophy is our job is to play the music you want to hear, announce any special events that occur throughout the night that you would like us to announce and help create a night that both you and your guests will remember for a long time. We do not teach dances, tell jokes, or make your guests do embarrassing things.

Discovery DJs is a Dallas wedding DJ service that is owned by Jim Weisz. Jim has personally provided DJ services at hundreds of events since 1999. Originally from Chicago, Jim relocated to Dallas and moved Discovery DJs in 2003. He has attended over 25 DJ conventions and has had more than 25 articles featured in, Mobile Beat magazine the only magazine specifically for mobile DJs.

Over the last 10 years of providing DJ services, Jim has put together a comprehensive music library that features dozens of music genres and spans over 80 years. Based in North Texas, Discovery DJs has traveled over 200 miles for events and will travel to just about anywhere for your wedding reception. Discovery DJs main service area includes the following cities: Arlington, Argyle, Bartonville, Bedford, Carrollton, Colleyville, Coppell, Corinth, Dallas, Denton, Double Oak, Euless, Farmers Branch, Flower Mound, Fort Worth, Frisco, Garland, Grand Prairie, Grapevine, Highland Park, Irving, Lewisville, Little Elm, Mesquite, Plano, Richardson and Southlake. In addition, Discovery DJs is also available for your wedding reception in Austin, Houston or San Antonio.
